bio
Cagdas Onal was born in Adana, Turkey in
1981. He received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Sabanci University,
Mechatronics Engineering Program in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He is currently
a Ph. D. candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon
University.
His research interest include
- Control
Theory: nonlinear control, bilateral control (teleoperation),
automation
- (Micro/Nano) Robotics: micro/nano manipulation,
atomic force microscopy
- Image Processing: Machine vision,
