I am a first year PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University, conducting research as part of the Integrated Design Innovation Lab. My work is advised by Dr. Jonathan Cagan and Dr. Kenneth Kotovsky. Currently, my research focuses on applying agent-based design methodology to dynamic and adversarial environments.
In May 2012 I graduated from CSU Fresno with B.S. degrees in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. While at CSU Fresno I investigated shear transfer in composite steel deck. This project was advised by Dr. Fariborz Tehrani.
For two summers I also served as a Science Undergraduate Laboratory Intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Under the guidance of Dr. Michael Lawson and Dr. Yi-Hsiang Yu I researched various methods for analyzing wave energy converters.
