I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. I graduated from Tepper in May 2013 with my PhD in Economics. My main advisors were Dr. Dennis Epple and Dr. Holger Sieg. My CV is available here in pdf format.

My current research (joint with PhD candidate Courtney Williamson, Dr. Dennis Epple, and Dr. Linda Argote) investigates the impact of remediation on outcomes for community college students. I also currently teach a freshman seminar on Topics in Economics and the Environment and manage the teaching assistants for CMU's undergraduate Principles of Economics course.

Prior to beginning my PhD program, I earned a BA and an MS in Economics at Lehigh University, in Bethlehem PA, studied in Ireland as a Fulbright scholar, and worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer.
