About me: I’m a straightedge hippie. So yeah, I take what you might consider the most boring parts of being a hippie (peace, love, and understanding) and run with them. Being open and compassionate to people is one of the most important things we can do. We have to believe that we may be able to make a difference or we’ll defeat ourselves before we even start. Respect, quality of life, environmentalism, animal issues, human/animal rights, all very important. I’m a sophomore Creative Writing major at CMU. I want to use writing to help work through living and bring out things that can help me and others. Spirituality is awesome, religion has awesome parts even though dogmatism is < cool. But in general: Yay! Love and peace!
