Kids at the playground
Keeping three young boys cooped up at the house on a nice winter afternoon just isn't fair. So off to the playground we went! They hit it off just fine, and had a good time, even with a layer of icy snow over the ground. It was difficult to get close enough to take a good picture, much less catch them actually looking at the camera.
David gives me his winning smile.

... and the adults
blk and Dave hang around to watch the action in spots big enough for them (there were plenty of places that weren't).

Swinging bridge
Showing Zach the physics of finding the frequency resonation of the bridge, and the joy of two people jumping. If you time it right, so that one person pushes off just as the wave of the bridge moves up under them... BOING!

Swings
Every playground outing must involve at least one trip to the swings.

More swings
Swings are more fun when you cuddle.

Sharing
On the way across the street to get groceries, Dave took a hand of each older boy. Justin said that his hand was cold. So Zach took one of his gloves (from the hand that Dave was keeping warm) and gave it to Justin, and they walked hand in hand in hand, with two hands in gloves. They closed up the circle just as I came up to capture it on film.

Movies
A couple movies.
- (9.6Mb) Justin and Zach being pushed on the tire swing. It was a fake tire. Sheesh.
- (14Mb) The boys run around. Zach flaps his arms. Of course it's cute.
