About Me:

My name is Ben Parker, and I am a native of Chicago, Illinois. I attended the International Baccalaureate program at Lincoln Park High School. I graduated from Carleton College in 2005 with a degree in International Relations, and a minor in French. After working for two years at the Progressive Corporation outside of Cleveland, Ohio, I decided to go to graduate school. In May 2009 I will receive a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University.

Career Goals:

After completing my degree at the Heinz School, I would like to work for the federal government or a think tank. Specifically, I would like to stay more on the "researchy" side of policy analysis and, if possible, use my french skills.

Involvement:

International Development Group : Serve as Chair of Finance
