Shakespeare:  Why do we have to read this?

1.  Follow the link and complete the Shakespeare Scavenger Hunt.

2.  Follow the link and complete the Shakespearean Foodfest.

3.   Watch at least 2 Shakespeare videos.  Some are weird.

4. Use Microsoft Excel and the link to Shakespeare's Influence to create a list of at least 20 artists, songs, movies, and TV shows that have been influenced by Shakespeare.  Include at least 5 of each.  Include your source for each entry.

5.  Although we have not yet begun reading any of Shakespeare's works, it should be becoming clear that there is a reason why people of all ages, all over the world, continue to read them.  Students always ask "why do we have to read this?"  Answer the question yourself in a persuasive letter telling me why we should read Shakespeare.
