Ashwati Krishnan

I am a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Engineering Research Accelerator (formerly Institute of Complex Engineered Systems) at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in February 2016, with a focus on mixed-signal integrated circuit design and biomedical systems. I finished my B. Tech. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. I work with Dr. Shawn K. Kelly and am a part of the Neural Devices Engineering Lab at CMU. My work involves the efficient design of biphasic neural stimulator circuits using active anodic feedback.
I was actively involved with the workings of the Indian Graduate Student Association (CMU) on campus, and am an active member of the CMU Shotokan Karate Club at CMU.
