About Me
I am a third year graduate student in the Joint Carnegie Mellon - University of Pittsburgh Ph.D. program in Computational Biology. I am advised by Robert Murphy and Gustavo Rohde at the Center for Bioimage Informatics at Carnegie Mellon University.
I am affiliated to the Center for Bioimage Informatics and the Lane Center for Computational Biology at Carnegie Mellon.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Anna University, Chennai, India. I did my undergraduate thesis work at the Computational Neuroscience Lab at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, India.
Currently, I work on developing methods for automatically acquiring information on the dynamic processes in cell and tissues from fluorescence microscopy images. I am interested in Machine Learning, Optimization Algorithms for Computer Vision and Image Registration.
Apart from research, I play tennis, basketball, ping pong, and love all kinds of music and drama.
