BigDog The most advanced rough terrain robot by Boston Dynamics
The BigDog gathers information through it's locomotion, joint position, joint force,
ground load, and gyroscope. It uses all of these sensors in order to assess it's position
and maintain balance so that it can transport its payload no matter what.
Using the information from the sensors, the BigDog computes the changes it needs to make
in order to keep its balance and move towards its goal.
After figuring out the changes it needs to make, the BigDog changes the positions of its joints
in order to keep its balance and move forward.
