Scouting College and Interest Project Day
Carnegie Mellon University Campus
November 3, 2007

Welcome to Alpha Phi Omega’s 12th annual Girl Scout College and Interest Project Day. This year’s date is November 3, 2007. This event will be held on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University, located in Oakland.

The registration packet will be posted in September. To receive a copy when it comes out, or for more information, please e-mail scipday@gmail.com with your contact information (e-mail and physical address).

The purpose of SCIP Day is for scouts to earn interest project patches in a college setting. Most of our classes are taught by current college students. Many teachers are teaching classes in their areas of study or favorite hobbies. Alpha Phi Omega is a coed national service fraternity founded on the principles of scouting. Several of our brothers (yes, the girls are brothers too!) are former Girl Scouts and have their Gold Award.

A full list of Interest Projects we plan to offer will be posted in September. Last year’s list can be found below.
