Leadership, Friendship, and Service
Alpha Phi Omega (APhiO) is a national service fraternity, open to both men and women, based on the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. We have over 350 active chapters on campuses throughout the United States. Kappa Chapter here at Carnegie Mellon University has been continuously active since 1929.

"Another APhiO Service"
Kappa Chapter's goal is to help others, and have fun doing it. Some of our projects include:
  • Building affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity
  • Providing bus service home for students at Thanksgiving and Spring Breaks
  • Helping prepare and serve food at soup kitchens
  • Taking disadvantaged children to the Zoo
  • Creating the campus student directory (C-Book)
  • Helping both boy scouts and girl scouts earn badges

Join Us!
Membership in Alpha Phi Omega is open to any Carnegie Mellon student that believes in our three cardinal principles: Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Both men and women have the same opportunities in our fraternity. All of our projects, events and regular meetings are open to the campus community. Come by and see what we're all about!

Our regular meetings for the Fall 2007 semester will be held on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 in Margaret Morrison 103
