As Director of the Health Professions Program (HPP), I advise students who plan to continue their education in an area of health or medicine. Advising in the HPP is in addition to curricular advising received from the students' home departments. The HPP also sponsors workshops and symposiums, helps students locate medical internship and volunteer opportunites, and supports students in all areas of the medical school application process. My primary responsibility as Associate Head of Biological Sciecnes is to advise biology majors on academic and curricular issues. I help students construct the course schedules they need in order to fulfill requriements for the various degrees offered by our department.
