Large Clock

This is a pendulum clock I made for Mary on Valentine's day 2000. The hands handn't arrived yet at the time I took the picture. They are a pair of thin black metal hands. The shotglass in the second photo gives scale to the size of the clock.

The outer frame is red oak, the face is maple, and the rest of the front is poplar. There is a pane of glass behind the three slots, and there will be a 15" brass pendulum rod and a 3" pendulum bob oscillating behind the glass. The numbers on the face of the clock are 1/4" dowel shaved in half.
