Frames
Actually, I have cranked out about a dozen picture frames for myself,
Mary Barliakos, and various other friends. This one was a triple frame
I made for my mother on Mother's Day 2000, with the intent that she
could put a picture of each of her three children in it. I primed it with
a picture of Mary and I at the beach in Clearwater, Fla. I also made
mattes to fit a 3x5 photo. The wood for this frame is maple, which gives
it the effect of appearing to be different shades depending on the angle
of light and viewing.
