Trips
Carnegie Mellon Univeristy provides us with a variety of trip opportunities, which include but not limited to service trips, self-assessment trips,
and discovery trips. Until this moment I have been only on one trip to Georgia. On this trip, we were required to focus on our leadership skills and improve one of them.
Another trip that I am applying to by the end of this academic year is a sevice trip to Rwanda. On this trip, we are required to teach students in Rwandan schools
the basic fundamentals of programming. Last year, I got accepted on the trip, but wasn't able to participate in it due to it clashing with summer courses. But this year,
I am ready to take part of it.

Internships
Until now, I haven't taken part in any internship due to the fact of being focused on my academics. Having spoken to my supervisor on improving the campus' technology webiste, I will be taking part in this project as a web developer. Additionally, I am looking for front-end development and design oppotunities in the future. As much as experience is required to get an internship, I will still be taking courses that puts me on the higher gorund when applying to the positions I want, such as Mobile Application Development in iOS and Mobile Web Design & Development.

Clubs
Since I do programming for fun, I participate in the Computing Club on campus.
The club allows me to participate in programming competitions, which I enjoy
taking part of, especially that we go in as a team of friends. I also participate
in the CarnegieApps Club, which is responsible for carrying out the hackathons in
my university. I also like taking part in those hackathons, as they allow me to brainstorm
innovative ideas and develop a prototype, which would hopefully pitch one day.
Other than programming-related clubs, I am a huge fan of basketball. And because of that,
I run the basketball club with my friend as a vice president. Although, I am not on the roster
of the team, I take part in the logistical and event-planning matters of the club.
