Who is Randy Pausch?

A professor who taught at the University of Virginia and the main campus of Carnegie Mellon University, he suffered from pancreatic cancer and pursued chemotherapy to treat it.

What was he known for?

Pausch played a vital role in co-establishing and leading a team of researchers to develop Alice, a revolutionary way of learning computer science. Also, he was known for his case of pancreatic cancer.
