Dave is a big winger with a great scoring touch. With the Penguins, he is not called on to score frequently, so he plays a tight fore-checking defensive role. If Dave has any faults, it would be his speed; however, Dave works on increasing his speed at every opportunity. It was the focus of his off-season training and he has already shown improvement
