Hwee Kuan graduated from National University of Singapore with Physics as a major in May 1995. In the same year, he entered Carnegie Mellon University in August. Since then, he has been an active member of Singapore Students' Association at Carnegie Mellon. Hwee Kuan received his MS in Physics in May 1997 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Physics. His thesis topic is "Computer (Monte Carlo) simulation on Fluid's Phase Transitions".
