General Meeting
and
Handicraft Making Session

On 12th March 1999, we held an GM and Handicraft Making Session at Danforth Lounge, UC. The GM was well attended by our members, and we kept to our promise of keeping it short (it took less than 10 minutes!). A big 'Thank You' for all the people that were there! The handicraft making session that followed was very interesting too, as we see our beloved friends wrestling with strings and beads.

Choon Hong helps Leonard with a finer point while Louis carefully works his first dragonfly. Heh, we've got quite a good collection of done pieces already!

"Ahh..I can do it without looking," Quek, while Denise goes, "Whoops!" Starting the dragonfly construction at the right position of string the vital, so Seggy carefully measures the center.

As Haozhong worries if we can meet our target production, Sylvia lends a helping hand to Keong Liam. "Is that how I tie the knot?", Quek clarifies.

Our Activities Sub-committee happily examines the production and checks for quality. This deserves a celebration - let's go for dinner afterwards!
