International Food Festival 98

On April 10, the SSA participated in the International Food Festival, organized by the  Taiwanese Students Association (TSA). Other student organizations included the Korean Students Association (KSA), Siam (Thailand), Aid for Indian Development (AID), Hong Kong Students Association (HKSA), Asian Students Association (ASA), Kapatirang Philipino (Phillipines), and ARCC. Despite all the competition, we more than managed to sell out all the food we brought. The Executive Committee graciously thanks all the members who helped out in preparation and selling at the booth, especially Daryl, Denise, Keong Liam, Hwee Kiah, Rodney, Hak-Yong, Maria, and Yuan Chou!

Here are some photographs from the activities. Please email me if you like reprints of the pictures.

Our food stall prominently features $0.50 drinks, as well as $0.50 roti john and $1.50 fish ball soup! We had pretty good fun keeping the fish balls coming for our many customers.

Topping up the tasty mushrooms and explaining what Bandung is (Rose Milk Syrup?) were among the common jobs.

so intense concentration... and careful observation is crucial.
