On January 23 1998, to celebrate Chinese New Year 1998, we had an delicious steamboat buffer at Fairfax apartments. For those who couldn't make it, you missed :

Loads of food, including delectable prawns, "lettuce biscuits", and "bak khua" roast pork.

A variety of action-packed Hong Kong movies.

Time to chat and discuss the plans over the weekend.

On January 28, New Year Day itself, eight of us had a spicy dinner at Lemongrass, a Thai restaurant at Squirrel Hill. (Sy Bor is not in picture).
