| The Carnegie Mellon University International Film Festival was established in 2004 by the Modern Languages Department and the Modern Languages Stuent Advisory Council (MLSAC). This annual event involves Modern Language minors and majors to organize the theme and film choices. All films are free and open to the Carnegie Mellon Community as well as the Pittsburgh community.
The theme for this year is Cultures & Conflicts so the films focus on modern day and nineteenth century situations that involve conflict, whether among individuals of one culture or between members of multiple cultures. |
