The TriPOD House
Our 2007 house continues to build upon ideas from past competitions, as well as innovating and exploring other ways to create a livable, sustainable house for everyone. There were three main focus groups for this house; plug n' play expressed with a modular building and living system, sustainability as it pertains to both the competition, as well as on a global scale, and the house as an exhibit since it will be relocated to Powdermill Nature Reserve long term as an educational resource.
These three fields often overlap, but they provide strong talking points for describing how the TriPOD House works.
