TITLE : Graduate Student
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Computational Tools for Complex Innovation Problems, in particular in Biology
|
Mark Whiting, Ph.D. Candidate
Mark received his B.Des. in Industrial Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) (with first class honors), and his M.S., also in Industrial Design, from Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). From 2013 he has worked at Carnegie Mellon with Jon Cagan and Phil Leduc exploring the overlap between biological systems and design. Ultimately, Mark is interested in using computational and economic approaches to increase the tractability of high complexity design problems, such as those sometimes found in biology.
