Kosa Goucher-Lambert, Ph.D. Student

Kosa is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Dr. Jonathan Cagan. Kosa received his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California in May 2011.

Before coming to Carnegie Mellon, Kosa spent a year working in industry at Apogee Electronics Corporation, a professional audio hardware design and engineering firm based in Santa Monica, California. Kosa's current research interests include sustainable product design, generative design systems, and the tradeoff between factors such as cost and sustainability in the early design stages.
