Pittsburgh Employees Activities Association (PEAA) Discounts -  2002 / 2003

Staff Council will be selling the books as a service to the campus community for $20 each. Cash and checks payable to Carnegie Mellon University will be accepted. Don't wait until November to buy your book.  The 2003 books can be used NOW.  Buy one today and start using the 2 for 1 coupons and enjoy saving discounts at restaurants, movies, sporting events & attractions.

Two editions are available: the Pittsburgh edition (**) and the Pittsburgh East Edition (++).  The Pittsburgh East edition includes coupons for Pittsburgh and the eastern suburbs around and beyond the Greensburg area.

Upcoming Group Activities

The PEAA is a group of Pittsburgh area businesses and institutions who get together to obtain discount offers for their organizations. Since Carnegie Mellon is a member of PEAA, each person in the Carnegie Mellon community is also considered a member. Staff, faculty and students are all eligible for the discounts listed below. 

The PEAA committee periodically posts information on the following bboards: official.cmu-news, cmu.misc.announce, cmu.misc.market, official.staff-council, and cmu.misc.parents-network. Anyone can contact one of the co-chairs to post a discount for his or her own business venture. 

The most requested item is the Entertainment Books, which sell for $20, the nonprofit group rate. Stores sell them for $33 but the committee distributes the books at cost as a service to the Carnegie Mellon community. Each Entertainment Book offers hundreds of discounts. 

There are two editions available, Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh East (includes coupons for PIttsburgh and easter suburbs around and beyond the Greensburg area)
